My Private Yellow

Private Yellow is a sculptural one-person cabin, built out of material leftovers from Fadenka’s fellow students at the art academy. A sculpture to have a personal experience with the color yellow.

Before making the sculpture, Fadenka travelled to a place called ‘Geel’ (yellow), in search of inspiration for her sculpture about her favourite colour. She wanted to immerse herself in yellow, to experience it, rather than simply look at it.

After exhibiting Private Yellow, Fadenka did not know what to do with the cabin. She tried to hitchhike to Immaterial. Unfortunately, nobody picked her up.
